The UGA Opera Ensemble Opera Scenes concert will be held on Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. in Ramsey Concert Hall at the Performing Arts Center.

The Opera Scenes program gives the undergraduate singers of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music an opportunity to perform operatic selections that are suitable for their developing voices and acting talents.

This fall's Opera Scenes concert will include nine scenes from a variety of operas: from Mozart classics to Leoncavallo's verismo style. All selections are fan favorites and familiar to many, including Rossini's “Barber of Seville” and Donizetti's “Lucia di Lammermoor.”

Admission is free and the public is invited to attend this showcase of the School of Music’s emerging vocal talents.
