As a service to the community, the UGA Hugh Hodgson School of Music helps to facilitate communication between our students and individuals seeking musicians for employment, educational opportunities and events.
Please note that contacting the School of Music about hiring a student is not a guarantee that a musician will be available.
We will, however, try our best to pair your request with a suitable student.
Please include the following information:
- Type of event
- Event date and start/finish time
- Ensemble or instrument type requested
- Payment information (paid or unpaid; payment amount/range, if applicable)
- Contact information: Name, email, and phone number
- Any additional details
To request a student musician, please send an email with the title "Student musician request" to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your event will be reviewed and posted to the student login portion of this site, where our musicians browse for performance opportunities.
