Music Therapy Musicale

The music therapy students at UGA will perform different styles of
music from classical to hip hop and involve the audience in singing and
rhythm activities. This is a non- traditional performance designed to
show case the different types of music and techniques that music
therapists use with real music therapy clients. This is a blue card
event and students all across campus attend and enjoy themselves

Concert: UGA Symphonic Band

Tom Keck, conductor

The Symphonic Band presents an evening of
contemporary wind repertoire and orchestral transcriptions. The program
includes Donald Grantham’s Southern Harmony, Dmitri Shostakovich’s
Festive Overture (transcribed by Donald Hunsberger), and Charles Ives’
Variations on America (transcribed by William Schuman).
