UGA Hugh Hodgson School of Music DMA euphonium student Chris Leslie won a position with the United States Military Academy Band at West Point yesterday.

February’s Second Thursday Scholarship Series event challenges conventional notions of chamber music with MOD[ular] Ensemble and Revien in Hodgson Concert Hall on Thursday, Feb. 18, at 7:30 p.m.

D. Ray McClellan will perform with Damon Denton and David Starkweather as part of the Hugh Hodgson Faculty Series in Ramsey Concert Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 8 p.m.

The UGA Opera Theatre’s spring production presents a world-famous opera at, perhaps, the most appropriate time of year: Mozart’s classic love story, “Così fan Tutte.”

Last fall, School of Music students competed for the chance to perform as soloists alongisde the UGA Symphony Orchestra.
