Damon Denton’s piano performance will kick off 2018’s Faculty Recital Series

The UGA Faculty Recital Series will kick off the new year with an evening of music from around the globe performed by pianist Damon Denton. Denton has been on the Hugh Hodgson School of Music Piano faculty as a resident accompanist since 2010. This concert will take place on Tuesday, February 6th at 8 p.m. in Ramsey Concert Hall.

William Westney to Give Sessions at UGA on Performance

William Westney, a distinguished professor from Texas Tech University, Fulbright scholar, and world-renowned pedagogue, will be in residence at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music from Feb 8-10. Westney is the author of the highly praised book The Perfect Wrong Note: Learning to Trust Your Musical Self, and creator of the renowned "Un-Master Class," documented in The New York Times and presented at the world's leading conservatories and schools of music.
