Avery Britt is a third-year honors student from Suwanee, Georgia earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition and Voice Performance. She is also completing a Minor in Piano and a Film and Media Scoring Certificate. At the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, Avery performs with the UGA Opera Theatre and UGA Choirs. She is also a board member of the Student Composers Association and Program Co-Chair of Sigma Alpha Iota at UGA. Avery enjoys performing/composing musical theatre, opera, and contemporary music, working as a music director, vocalist, private lesson instructor, and pit musician in Athens and in the Atlanta area.
