Ben Hackworth is a third-year Cello Performance Major from Woodstock, Georgia. Within the School of Music, Ben has performed with the University Symphony Orchestra, University Philharmonia Orchestra, and the UGA Cello Choir Ensemble. Ben plays an active in the Athens Community, performing at local churches, and frequently engaging with the Athens music and art scenes. Outside of his studies, Ben loves to read, write screenplays, and go to museums; he also is a Scholarship Ambassador here at the University of Georgia. Ben is honored to represent and serve Hugh Hodgson School of Music as a student ambassador.
