Emily is a native of Cumming, Georgia, and she is a fourth-year music education major and business minor. She is studying saxophone under Dr. Quarles, and has been a member of the UGA Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, UGA Jazz Ensemble I, Ducks Here We Come Saxophone Quartet, and the Redcoat Marching Band. She has loved getting to travel and make memories with so many incredible students in the Redcoat Band and Hugh Hodgson school of music! She is an active member of cNAFME, GMEA, and is an alumni sister of Sigma Alpha Iota. Outside of music school, she is very involved in Beech Haven Church’s childcare programs and worship ministry, and she loves to make music of any kind with other people.
