Mary is a third-year honors student from Athens, Georgia, pursuing studies in Music and Public Relations. She is a member of the percussion studio with  experience in vocals, guitar, drums, piano, saxophone, bass guitar and ukulele. Mary performs across several School of Music groups, including the Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony.

Outside of music, Mary is actively involved in campus life and community service at the University of Georgia. She serves as an Honors College Ambassador, holds the role of Zeta Band Chair within Zeta Tau Alpha, and serves on the Leadership Team for UGA Miracle to support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Mary is a brain cancer survivor and is a former ambassador for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she traveled around the country and shared her story. Her background also includes years of involvement with the music ministry at Athens First United Methodist Church.

Mary is so grateful for the opportunity to study in the School of Music and is honored to give back to her community through her role as an ambassador.
