Peter Dixon

Peter (he/him/his) is a native of Duluth, Georgia, and is currently studying Music Education at the University of Georgia where he has the privilege of studying with horn professors Dr. Jean Martin-Williams and Dr. James Naigus. In addition to the horn, Peter enjoys playing piano and singing in choirs.

At the University of Georgia, Peter marches with the UGA Redcoat Band as a member of the Athens Clarke-County Mellophone Ensemble (ACCME), and loves cheering on all the Dawgs’ sports teams. He currently serves as treasurer for the UGA’s collegiate chapter of the National Association for Music Education (CNAfME) and as a Hugh Hodgson School of Music Ambassador. Additionally, he is a brother of the Kappa Mu chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi (ΚΚΨ) National Honorary Band Fraternity. When he is not busy learning about music, education (or both at the same time), he enjoys being outdoors running, camping, or backpacking.
