Chamber ensembles and students of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music faculty scored big at the Georgia division Music Teachers National Association competitions on Wednesday, November 6. Congratulations to all of the winners!

Philip Smith, currently the principal trumpet of the New York Philharmonic, will soon be moving South to join the faculty of the University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson School of Music. Smith has been named the William F. and Pamela P.

Congratulations to Hodgson School voice student Joseph Brent, who will be making his Carnegie Hall debut on November 6!
