Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Tonight's 2nd Thursday Scholarship Series Concert promises to be a real treat.

The ARCO Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Levon Ambartsumian, presents From England to Siberia.

The concert features faculty soloists D. Ray McClellan, David Zerkel, Levon Ambartsumian and guest conductor Dan Kaplunas performing the music of English and Russian composers of the 2oth century.

The program begins at 8 p.m. in Hodgson Hall. Tickets are $15/$7 for students with a valid UGA ID.

The 2nd Thursday Scholarship Series Concerts provide a wide range of opportunities for students to study music at UGA while also presenting a venue to showcase the extraordinarily high level of musical achievement of HHSOM faculty. The Series is a product of the generosity and love of music by our donors.
