2nd Thursday Concert Tonight

Tonight's Second Thursday Concert at Hodgson Hall in the Performing Arts Center promises to be a night to remember. Celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the composer's birth continues with tonight's Schummaniad, an exquisite evening of poetry, song and chamber works. Tickets available here.

Tonight's artists include Willson Center Visiting Scholar Sylvia Plyler. The relationship between Schumann and his wife, Clara Wieck Schumann, is recalled with husband and wife collaborations by Peter and Kristin Jutras presenting the Sonata no.1 in A Minor for violin and piano , and D. Ray and Erica McClellanperforming the Fantasiestucke for clarinet and piano.
