Saxophone Heaven

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

If you're walking the corridors of the Hodgson School over the next three days and you love the saxophone, you're in heaven. They're everywhere. Performing, rehearsing, giving lessons, taking lessons, judging, being judged, warming up, sitting out front of the building in the sun... all the fun of being serious performer is operational and in action around the music school these days, all part of the biennial NASA Conference going on here. The fun continues tonight with a performance by the UGA Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble which I am told will feature no less than five saxophone concertos. 7:30 p.m. Hodgson Concert Hall. Free.
