Continuing a Hugh Hodgson School of Music tradition, the Hodgson Wind Ensemble will perform the sixth-annual Concert on the Lawn on Oct. 16 at 12:30 p.m. on UGA's North Campus Lawn.

This year's free performance includes works from Karl King, Sousa, Strauss and more, spanning a wide array of styles.

"The tradition draws a large audience of students, faculty, administration, and community members," said Cynthia Johnston-Turner, director of the Hodgson Wind Ensemble. "We hope that, if you are free, you will join us for an hour of fun, entertaining music ranging from Hollywood movie medleys to toe-tapping marches to Viennese polkas."

This concert is free and open to the public. For more information on the Hodgson Wind Ensemble or the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, visit music.uga.edu.
