University of Georgia guitar professor Philip Snyder will present the latest entry in the 2014-2015 Hugh Hodgson Faculty Series on Monday, January 12 at 8:00 pm in Ramsey Concert Hall. Snyder, a student of former professor John Sutherland, will perform a series of solo compositions before being joined onstage by fellow Georgia Guitar Quartet members Kyle Dawkins, Brian Smith, and Jason Solomon.

Selections include works by Villa-Lobos, Bach, Tárrega, Duarte, Brouwer, Barrios, Chopin, Grief, and Granados. The evening will conclude with an exciting performance of Mendelssohn, John Williams, Portishead, and Grizzly Bear by the ensemble Revien, in which Snyder plays cello.

Tickets for the performance are $10 or $5 with UGA student ID, and can be obtained by visiting PAC.UGA.EDU or by calling 1-888-289-8497 or 706-542-4400.
