Sally Ann Nichols

Sally Ann Nichols, MM, MT-BC is an Academic Professional / Clinical Supervisor in Music Therapy. She received her M.M. from Florida State University (2018) and B.M. from Belmont University (2016). She has advanced training in neurologic music therapy (NMT-F) and neonatal intensive care unit music therapy (NICU-MT).

Before joining UGA, Sally Ann was a medical music therapist at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL working with a variety of patients across the hospital, including neurologic, level 1 trauma, cardiology, oncology, palliative, psychiatric, neonatal, and other general medical populations.

Prior to this, she developed the music therapy program at the Intrepid Spirit Center of Eglin Air Force Base, FL, serving military service members with traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder. She also advanced music therapy clinical programming while working in private practice in and around Tallahassee, FL.
