Vic Jeon

Vic Jeon is a second year undergraduate student pursuing degrees in music education, viola performance, and A.B. music. As an active member of both Michael Heald and Maggie Snyder's studios, violin and viola respectively, Vic has played in the UGA symphony orchestra as a violinist and a violist. In addition to performing with the UGA symphony orchestra, Vic has had the privilege to play both violin and viola in numerous chamber ensembles.

In the summer of 2025, Vic has had the opportunities to serve as a rehearsal assistant, participate in a music library work study, premiere works written by student composers, and perform symphonic works while serving as either a concertmaster, assistant principal violist, or principal violist. 

Outside of musical academic endeavors, Vic has enjoyed involvement in numerous student organizations and frequently attends on-campus events. Exploring what UGA and Athens has to offer, whether that's trying a boba place downtown or walking on nature trails, is something that Vic can be found doing.

As a student ambassador for the school of music, Vic aims to become a supportive, reliable resource for prospective and incoming students; especially for those who are string players. Above all, Vic is excited to represent HHSOM with a friendly face and welcoming attitude!
