The Hodgson Singers, the premier vocal ensemble at the UGA Hugh Hodgson School of Music, will sing in and for the community when they perform at Athens YWCO’s Winter Concert at the North Oconee High School Fine Arts Center on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m.

The concert, in memory of long-time YWCO board member Jane Cooley, will benefit community children, as proceeds from the performance will enhance youth programming at the YWCO. The ensemble will be conducted by Dr. Dan Bara, director of the Hodgson Singers.

Ticket information is available by calling the YWCO.

The YWCO is a non-profit community agency promoting healthy lifestyles for adults and kids through various fitness, aquatic, after-school and summer camp programs. Each year hundreds of children learn to swim at the YW, attend Summer Girls Club or Day Camp, participate in the after school program and the Kids Tri the Y Youth Triathlon.

The UGA Hugh Hodgson School of Music sponsors more than 350 performances each year. To view the performance calendar, subscribe to the weekly email concert listing or learn more about the School of Music, go to music.uga.edu.
