World-renowned flutist Emmanuel Pahud to give masterclass at UGA

The masterclass will be held in Edge Hall on Monday, February 19th from 1:30-4:30PM and is free and open to the public. Although Emmanuel Pahud is a flutist, this class should be of interest to all musicians, not just flutists.

UGA Opera Theatre to Perform Mozart’s Famous Opera Le nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro)

UGA Opera Theatre will complete its trifecta of Mozart's three most famous operas created with librettist Lorenzo da Ponte in their production of Le nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) happening February 23, 24, and 25.


Guest Artists Misha Galaganov and John Owings give recital

Misha Galaganov (viola) and John Owings (piano) will be performing Monday, February 12 at 6 pm in Ramsey Recital Hall. Their program will include music by Chausson, Inghelbrecht, and two pieces by Kunc.  


UGA to host the Southeast Horn Workshop

Dr. Jean Martin-Williams, Dr. Cathy Kilroe-Smith and the UGA Horn Studio are hosting over 200 horn players February 9–11, 2018 in Athens, Georgia for the Southeast Horn Workshop.  This annual event is held at a different college campus each spring.
