The 2018 Music & Art Research Symposium will take place on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music and Lamar Dodd School of Art.


UGA Symphony Orchestra Concert

The UGA Symphony Orchestra (UGASO) performs its second concert of the season in Hodgson Concert Hall on Thursday, March 8 at 8 p.m.

 


Guest Artist Julio Alves in residency at UGA

Julio Alves, Professor of Guitar at Marshall University, will be giving a Masterclass at 1:30 in room 410 of the School of Music and will be in concert at 6:30 in Edge Hall today, Monday, Marh 5th.


Faculty Artist Series features Trombonist Josh Bynum

The Faculty Artists Series continues its season with Brass Area Chair Josh Bynum on trombone and Anatoly Sheludyakov on piano. The concert takes place on Tuesday, March 6th at 8 p.m. in Ramsey Hall.

 


Saxophone Virtuoso Arno Bornkamp to perform at UGA

As part of “A Gathering at the Hugh: Celebrating the Composition and Commissioning Process, Wind Ensemble and Saxophone,” the Hugh Hodgson School of Music (HHSOM) will be hosting international saxophone virtuoso Arno Bornkamp from Holland.
