Chloe James

Chloe James is a second-year B.M. Music Education student specializing in violin under the guidance of Dr. Heald. In addition to her major, she is pursuing a minor in Women’s Studies, seeking to promote feminism, inclusion, and empowerment within the musical world, through future higher education and research. Chloe has loved being part of the UGA Symphony Orchestra, Repertory Singers, and the UGA Philharmonic Orchestra, all of which have fueled her passion for music education.

Emma Hu

Emma Hu (she/her) is a second year Music Therapy major from Zebulon, GA studying in the Clarinet Studio taught by Dr. McClellan. Emma marches with the UGA Redcoat Marching Band in the Bureau of Athens Clarinets and serves on the Uniform Team. She is an active member of UGA’s Iota Zeta chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, where she served as Service Chair for the MIT class of 2024, as well as a member of the Music Therapy Student Association.

Ian Harding

Ian Harding is a Second Year Music Education major at UGA. He is an active member of choral and instrumental ensembles in the Hugh Hodgson School of Music. Ian finds joy in all areas of fine arts, and has experience with UGA's musical theatre program as well. He firmly believes that value can be found in any type of music, and loves trying to gain experience with many different styles.

Phoebe Feibus

Phoebe Feibus is a second-year B.M. Music Performance student studying voice in Dr. Knight’s studio. A film and television fan, she is also pursuing a Film and Media Scoring Certificate. For her score of the short film After Years, she received an “Award of Excellence in Music” from the Southern Shorts Awards. Phoebe has enjoyed being a part of Women’s Glee Club, Repertory Singers, and Hodgson Singers ensembles as well as being a member of the UGA ACDA chapter.

Aidan Eclavea

Aidan Eclavea (he/him) is a native of Martinez, GA. A second-year music major, he is pursuing a degree in vocal performance and instrumental music education. He has the honor of studying voice with Dr. Amy Petrongelli and saxophone with Dr. Brandon Quarles. Aidan loves performing music in any capacity. Through his studies, he has been a member of the UGA Wind Symphony, the UGA Men’s Glee Club, and the Hodgson Singers. With his involvement in the Redcoat Marching Band, he has been able to travel across the country to support the dawgs!

Zaria Doss

Hi my name is Zaria Doss and I am a Music Education Major looking to further my understanding of music in order to pass it on to others so that they can know and love music as much as I do. I have been singing since I was about 3 years old and I’ve been playing guitar since I was 13 years old. Over the years I have had exceptional musical experiences that have helped me find my place in the world and I want to help others achieve the same!

Lily Kate Akins

Lily Kate Akins is a second-year AB Music and AB Art (Photography) double major originally from Brunswick, Georgia. She has participated in many of the university's ensembles including the UGA Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Redcoat Marching Band, and Clarinet Choir. Her primary instrument is clarinet, which she studies with Dr. Ray McClellan, but she also enjoys playing piano and guitar. Lily Kate enjoys being involved in both the Hugh Hodgson School of Music and the Lamar Dodd School of Art.

Marcus Morris

Dr. Marcus Morris joins the University of Georgia Bands after serving as the Assistant Director of Bands at Dorman High School in South Carolina. During his tenure there, he co-directed the Wind Ensemble and the award-winning Marching Cavaliers. Dr. Morris conducted the Symphonic Band and contributed to the instructional staff for the Scholastic World Class Dorman Indoor Percussion.

Kevin Hibbard

Kevin Hibbard is Professor Emeritus of Music from the University of West Georgia, where he served as Director of Choirs for 32 years. Previously, he was Instructor of Choral Music Education at Illinois State University, and grades 7-12 Vocal Music Teacher in the Osage (Iowa) Community Schools.
