Rumya S. Putcha

Rumya S. Putcha is an associate professor in the Institute for Women's and Gender Studies and in the Hugh Hodgson School of Music. Her research interests center on colonial and anti-colonial thought, particularly around constructs of knowledge, the body, and the state.

Dickie Lee

Dickie Lee is an Assistant Professor of Music Theory at the University of Georgia’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music. He earned a Ph.D. in music theory from Florida State University, a M.M. in music theory from Temple University, and a B.A. in music theory and composition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Before coming to UGA, Lee was Lecturer of Music Theory at Colorado State University, where he taught undergraduate and graduate courses.

James Naigus

As a dedicated teacher, active performer, and prolific composer, James Naigus seeks to inspire the next generation of musicians and creative thinkers through artistic empowerment and enthusiastic innovation. He is Assistant Professor of Horn at the University of Georgia and hornist with the Georgia Brass Quintet. He is co-founder of the Cor Moto Horn Duo with Drew Phillips, and co-editor/contributor of the Creative Hornist and Technique Tips columns in the Horn Call, the journal of the International Horn Society. In 2024 he was awarded the prestigious Michael F.

Grace Huang

Grace Huang is Lecturer of Piano Pedagogy and Class Piano Coordinator at the University of Georgia where she teaches undergraduate and graduate pedagogy courses, class piano, and oversees all aspects of the class piano program. Additionally, she owns and operates an independent piano studio in Athens.

Elizabeth Knight

Elizabeth Johnson Knight, American mezzo soprano, is in demand as both a choral and solo artist. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2010 as alto soloist in Handel's Messiah with Andrew Megill and the Masterwork Chorus.

Alison Farley

Alison Farley is an Associate Professor of Music Education at the University of Georgia where she teaches courses in instrumental music education, psychology of music, curriculum and supervision, and world music pedagogy, and advises undergraduate and graduate students.
